Well I never...

Today was weigh in number two, and I approached it with a little more than a great deal of trepidation!  This week I've managed to consume Waggon wheels, Pizza, a Cornish Pasty, a Chinese, beer and a steak Valentines dinner...

So imagine my surprise when I climbed on the wii this morning (I use the wii cos I trust it more than our scales!) and it told me I've lost another 6lb!

How can that be possible?  Where's it gone? Surely it's not just from eating less rubbish? Why don't I feel any thinner?

Well, actually, I probably do feel thinner, my clothes definately were tight before and now they are considerably more comfortable!

I'm out for another posh dinner tomorrow (Valentines pressie) and then I'm back at the diet in earnest or this weeks binging will catch me up big style!

Hmmm

Weigh in on Sunday and I'm not sure how I will do this time around...

Had, as you have probably seen, a slip up earlier in the week with the pasty and marshmallows, and I was out last night for tea, so had to make do with either a pizza or burger (they didn't have a great selection in the pub we were in) and what was I thinking.... I had 2 pints of lager!

Why?

I never drink lager, I'm usually strictly a Jack Daniels and Diet Coke girl, or occasionally a cider, so why on earth did I decide that last night was the best time to start on the lager?

Valentines day tomorrow, so I'm going to do the diet packs for breakfast and lunch, but then I'm doing a special valentines tea for him indoors, so I'm having another night off, so I shan't be too surprised if I've lost bugger all this week!

Oh my god

But, having fallen off the waggon, I'm climbing right back on...

or I thought I was until I ate a bag of marshmallows this morning!

But, now I am most definately on my waggon again, and just thinking about lunch (although I'm not that hungry after a bag of marshmallows!)

Secondly - the number of weddings we've got to go to this year have suddenly gone up...

We've now been invited to 6, count them, 6 weddings this year, although by the look of things, 3 of them are on the same day! One is in Italy, which should be lovely, and that gives me a nice incentive to loose some weight (it's on the 4th July) so I can get into a nice slinky strappy dress and stand in the sunshine. The Italy wedding is also my first "civil partnership" wedding I'll have been to, so that should be an experience, wonder how they will do the stag nights?

Wow ... 20st 6lb

Well, I just weighed in and I've lost 8lb, I still can't quite believe this!

I've never been someone who has the big lump of weight loss at the start of the diet, so this has kind of caught me by surprise!

So today so far I've had 2 slices of toast with lo fat spread and a strawberry milkshake and I'll have some yummy lamb hotpot for tea.

I have to go off and take him indoors to the airport in a bit, and that could be interesting as I've got used to doing car jourmeys with a big bag of Jelly Babies, so I'll pack some of my oat crisps and lots to drink and I should be fine...

Here goes nothing...21st 0lb

This blog sees me embark on my massive push to loose some weight this year. I've tried everythig going in the past, Weightwatchers, Slimming World, Atkins, Hoodia Pills, Boots weightloss programme, you name it, I've tried it!

No more, I'm on a mission this year to not be the fat lump sitting on the beach in her bikini, with people staring because I shouldn't be wearing a bikini... at the very least I'm going to be the not so skinny one!

I found another diet thing, but I think this one will work (I can feel it in my water so to speak) and it's called diet chef - I'll tell you more about it in another post.

As it stands, tomorrow is weigh in day number one, so here's hoping the number up there in the subject line goes down - but come what may I'll be blogging it all the way.
